Adding a label to an instance can help users distinguish between multiple instances used for different purposes. Labels are available to identify production, development, and test environments, which are the most common scenarios.
Notes
Adding a label does not affect any functionality within the APEX AIOps Incident Management instance. It is purely informational.
Users need the Instance Full Access permission to change the instance label. See Custom roles permissions reference.
To add a label:
Click inside the circle in the upper-right corner of your instance to open your account information.
Click Change Instance Type.
Choose a label for your instance.
The following selections are available:
No label (an empty space displays)
Production
UAT
Test/Dev
Click Save.
The label displays to all users to indicate the purpose of the instance.
