Create and share incident views
Once you have adjusted the content and appearance of the incidents list and dashboard panes to suit your preferences, you can save those adjustments as a custom view. You can set a view as a default, save multiple views, and switch easily between different views. You can share a view with other users and use views that have been shared with you. Groups can share saved views to make it easier to work together and onboard new users.
Select an incident view
From the incidents list or dashboard, click the name of the view in the upper left of the screen to open a list of available views. Click the view you want to see.
Set a default incident view
From the incidents list or dashboard, click the incident view name in the upper left to open the list of available views and select the one that you want to set as the default view. Click Options and choose Set as default view.
Modify an incident view
You can make and save the following adjustments to an incident view.
Incident list vs. dashboard – Click the list or dashboard icon in the top center oval to toggle between the incident list and dashboard. Any filters you apply to the incident list will also apply to the dashboard.
Column order – In the incident list, drag column headers in the incident grid to change the column order.
Column sort direction – In the incident list, click a column header and then click the arrow that appears to change the column’s sort order from ascending to descending or vice versa.
Column filters – In the incident list, click the filter icon at the top to display or suppress the filter bar. With the filter bar visible, click the filter icon at the top of a column and enter criteria to limit the incidents displayed in the incidents list based on the values in that column. See Search, filter, and sort alert and incident data for more information.
Dashboard aggregation – In the dashboard, click the Tile by dropdown and choose the incident attribute (classes, services, types, or custom tags) you want to use for aggregating the incidents in the dashboard tiles.
Dashboard priority vs. severity – In the dashboard, click the Sort by dropdown to choose whether to display incident counts by priority or by severity in the dashboard tiles. Click a dashboard tile to display a list of incidents sorted by the chosen attribute.
Modify columns
Click Columns at the top of the page to access the following column options:
Add a column
In the Columns dialog, click Add Column and select a column to add to the view by clicking Add Column (+ icon) to the right of the column name. The column is added to the grid display.
If the column you want to add isn't in the list of recent columns, use the search box at the top of the dialog to locate it.
Pin (or unpin) a column
Pinning moves the column to the first position in the grid (or within the pinned group, if other columns are already pinned), "freezes" it in place, and allows the columns to the right of it to continue to scroll.
To pin a column, click the pin icon to the right of the column. This pins the column and all columns to the left of it.
If the column is already pinned, then clicking the pin icon unpins it.
Auto-size a column
To make a column as wide as the widest item in the column, click Auto-size this Column ( ↔ icon ) to the right of the column name.
Remove a column
Click Remove Column (trashcan icon) to the right of the column name.
Auto-size all columns
To change the width of all the columns to the width of the widest item in each column, click Auto-size All at the bottom of the dialog.

The Save or Save as button is enabled after you have made changes to a view.
