APEX AIOps Incident Management Collector
The APEX AIOps Incident Management Collector is a lightweight, easy-to-install agent that collects time series performance data on Linux and MacOS devices then sends that data to Incident Management.
The Incident Management Collector is based on the Vector open-source observability tool. Each collector includes a set of preconfigured plugins that collect detailed performance metrics and send the data to your Incident Management instance.
To install a collector, you simply run a cURL request that downloads and executes the install script.
Note
To migrate from an old Incident Management Collector: stop the old collector, delete the install directory, then install the new collector. For more information, refer to Collector operations.
