Add Watchers action

The Add Watchers action adds validated Moogsoft Cloud users or groups to the list of watchers for incidents. You can control the incidents affected by this action by configuring workflow triggers, or by adding a filter within your incident workflow.

This action takes the following inputs:
User
A list of users to add to the watchers list for the matching incidents.
Group
A list of groups to add to the watchers list for the matching incidents.
You can select one or more users, one or more groups, or a combination of users and groups. Note that the users are not assigned to the incident, but added as incident watchers.
Incident example
The following example adds the members of a group of users called MyGroup as watchers for all incidents (both new and updated) where severity = critical and the source is switch.abc.harrelbank.com.
Configure the workflow trigger to identify the incidents:
Under Triggers, select New or changed incidents.
Set the optional filter to the following:
severity = Critical AND source = switch.abc.harrelbank.com
Add the Add Watchers action to the workflow.
In the Add Watchers action, under Group, select Add to watchers and then select MyGroup in the list.
Save and enable the workflow.
All incidents that meet the trigger filter criteria will have the members of MyGroup added as watchers. You can use different criteria, or use the Add Watchers action in conjunction with other actions in more complex workflows.
