API key permissions for the outbound ServiceNow integration
You must create an API key in APEX AIOps Incident Management to use with the outbound ServiceNow integration. In most cases, the API key requires these permissions to allow bidirectional communication:
Permission | Level |
---|---|
Incidents and Insights | Full Access |
Maintenance | Full Access |
If the update set will be used to configure Incident Management, or if legacy catalog-based maintenance windows are in use, then additional permissions are required.
The following table lists the operations that require configuration changes and additional API key permissions:
When performing this operation: | Change this setting in the ServiceNow update set: | Include Full Access for this permission in the Incident Management API key: |
