xMatters Workflow
The bidirectional xMatters integration keeps critical information synchronized between Moogsoft Onprem and xMatters.
You can perform the following actions with this integration:
Notify an xMatters group about an alert.
Notify an xMatters group about a Situation.
Comment on an xMatters event for it to appear in an associated Situation Room comment thread in Moogsoft Onprem.

Notify an xMatters Group about an Alert
You can notify an xMatters Group about an alert by following these steps:
Open an alert view.
Right-click on an alert.
Select Tools > Engage xMatters Group (Alert).
The xMatters group receives a notification about the alert from Moogsoft Onprem.
Notify an xMatters Group about a Situation
You can notify an xMatters Group about an alert by following these steps:
Open a Situation view.
Right-click on a Situation.
Select Tools > Engage xMatters Group.
The xMatters group receives a notification about the Situation from Moogsoft Onprem.
Comment on a Situation Room from xMatters
You can add comments to the comment thread of a Situation Room in Moogsoft Onprem from xMatters.
To do this, open the associated event in xMatters and add a comment. This appears in Moogsoft Onprem as follows:
"xMatters user <your_username> Commented: <posted_comment>".
