Integrate ServiceNow with Moogsoft Cloud maintenance windows

You can integrate ServiceNow with Moogsoft Cloud maintenance windows. This ensures that:

  • When a qualifying change request in ServiceNow is moved to the "Implement" state, a new non-repeating Maintenance Window will be created in Moogsoft.

  • The Maintenance Window will automatically expire at the end of the change window.

  • The Maintenance Window can be expired early when the change request moves out of the Implement state.

Make sure that you have installed the update set by following these instructions before you continue.

Enable maintenance windows feature in ServiceNow

  1. In ServiceNow, navigate to All > Moogsoft Integration > System > Moogsoft Cloud Properties.

  2. Scroll down and select Yes for the following properties:

    • Enable Moogsoft Maintenance Window integration

    • Use New Maintenance Windows Feature

  3. Click Save at either the bottom or the top of the page.

    Maintenance windows are now enabled for your integration. A new maintenance window will be created when a qualifying change request in ServiceNow is moved to the "Implement" state.
