Outbound incident webhooks


Moogsoft Cloud includes two outbound webhook types: the alert webhook and the incident webhook. For more information about the alert webhook, see Outbound alert webhooks.

An outbound incident webhook is a webhook designed to be triggered from within an incident workflow. When used in conjunction with a workflow, an outbound incident webhook can be used to create and update payloads to externally connected (outbound) systems, such as ITSM/ticketing, notification or collaboration tools.

Configure the outbound incident webhook first, then add it to the Send to Endpoint action configuration in a workflow.

The incident webhook is not a standalone webhook. It must be triggered from within an incident workflow.
