Catalina Browser Certificate Workaround

In macOS Catalina or later, the Moogsoft Enterprise UI is inaccessible in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) because self-signed certificates are not trusted.

To solve the problem complete these steps.

  1. Open your browser (Chrome, Safari or Edge) and attempt to access the Moogsoft Enterprise UI. In macOS Catalina or later you will see an error message similar to "Your connection is not private" and you will not be able to proceed to the UI.

  2. Click the "Not Secure" warning in the browser address bar and select Certificate (Invalid) from the drop-down menu. Drag the certificate onto your desktop.

  3. Open the saved certificate. If a dialog box appears, add the certificate to the Login keychain.

  4. Open Utilities > Keychain Access on your Mac and open the new certificate. Expand the Trust configuration and select When using this certificate: Always Trust. Close and save.

  5. Refresh your browser and log into the Moogsoft Enterprise UI.

  6. Repeat steps 1-5 on any machine on which you want to access the Moogsoft Enterprise UI.
