Configuring SSL in XClarity

SSL configuration is required to establish a secured communication in between the XClarity server and the XClarity LAM. To establish an SSL communication proceed as follows:

  1. Log into the Administration Console of the XClarity Server and enter the user name and password. The Administration Console Dashboard opens.
  2. Go to the Administration Console and click on Administration then select Security . The Security page opens.

  3. Select Trusted Certificates in the Certificate Management section.

  4. Click on the radio button of the trusted certificated shown in the Trusted Certificates section, then select the View icon. The View Certificate dialog opens.
  5. Click on the button Save as pem and save the certificate at a location of your choice.
  6. Open a CLI and navigate to the directory where the downloaded certificate is stored.
  7. Enter the following commands to generate a keystore certificate.

    keytool -genkey -alias mydomain -keyalg RSA -keystore KeyStore.jks -keysize 2048
    keytool -import -alias foo -file mgmt_server.pem -keystore KeyStore.jks

The SSL is configured for the XClarity server. Copy the generated certificate to the Moogsoft AIOps Server and add path at which these certificates are copied to in the xclarity_lam.conf file of the XClarity LAM.
